This is the new Pokémon GO tracking system
After several days of waiting, one of the most important updates to the app ecosystem has arrived: the new Pokémon Go tracking system. We can say goodbye, definitively, to the useless fingerprint system that more than a utility seemed simply an ornament to confuse the player. You can download Pokémon GO for Android from this link Note, this is a game that contains in-app purchases.
After testing the new tracking system in the United States, Niantic has just launched in Europe the update that will finally make it easier for us to hunt down that much-desired Pokémon. Without going any further, on November 23rd the long-awaited Ditto joined the list of Pokémon that we could include in our Pokédex. Now, with the new radar, it will be much easier to find him.
Without further ado, we are going to tell you how this new location system works We took to the streets and, even though it was raining seas, we owe it to you, readers, and there is no wind or tide to contain us. I will shut up. Let's start.
As soon as you open the game and the usual cautionary screens appear, the map appears that reflects the place where we are at that moment. Everything is still in its place: in the lower left part the icon of our trainer and his partner and on the right, what interests us: the new radar ofPokémon GO. If you click on it, a drop-down screen will open that contains the following:
As I have marked with a red square, you can see a lovely Growlithe next to a pokestop This means that that specific Pokémon is located very close to that pokestop , as if he were waiting for the bus, oblivious to the catch that is coming his way. We can click on the image to see the following:
We see in the foreground the Pokémon that we have selected, the pokestopcircled and ATTENTION! the fearsome footprints have returned. Don't panic, this is just a simple button that, when pressed, the map zooms out, heading to the area where the corresponding Pokémon is located.
The movement it makes is zoom-out and repositions itself as in the screenshot on the right. If you look closely, in previous photos the Pokémon and the footprints button appear in purple instead of the usual turquoise. This means that Pokémon is being tracked with preference. See how the screen looks in the following screenshots.
If we take too long to catch the Pokémon, it can run away, so you should guide yourself very well with the compass to get there in time for the pokestop. This is the warning we never want to get out to Pokémon GO players.
Well, this is all you need to know to hunt with more precision that Pokémon that still resists you.Who knows if among some of those rattatas you will find the long-awaited Ditto. Will you get this new radar system make you fall back into the networks of Pokémon GO?
