Daydream
The company Google warms up to launch its virtual reality systemAnd the fact is that Daydream is just around the corner, proof of this is that its official application is now available at Google Play Store Sort of. At the moment, Google has shown the application, but it is not possible to download it in Spain officially, although we have an unofficial link.
This is Daydream, which is neither more nor less than the platform to give way to content created in 360 degrees, to be experienced with virtual reality glasses that take the user to the center of the action. From 360-degree videos to interactive experiences where you can navigate a parallel reality with just move your head and use a control, without moving from the sofa, or almost.
You should know that, for the moment, Daydream is only compatible with Google phones, the Pixel and Pixel XL, although there are already other terminals that will offer support for it on the way, as is the case of the Huawei Mate 9That is why, for now, a very small number of users have access to this virtual experience. Even more so considering that the Daydream glasses and controller have not been released globally. But that's no excuse for Google not having everything ready for your arrival.
In this application we didn't find anything really striking I know. And, as we say, it is a platform. The important thing is the rest of the content that will be added to experience mode, 360-degree videos, games and other virtual reality formats. However, it is an essential tool for those who own the Google glasses, since it is the door to everything that Daydream can offer in a direct and official way. Of course, it is not the only application that must be downloaded for the entire Google system to work. Next to it is Google VR services, which helps make virtual reality possible through this app.
This application can be used both through the glasses Daydream and through the mobile phone in the usual way, without any device on the head. And it is that, in addition to offering an environment to quickly jump to already installed virtual reality content, it also has recommendations for other content linked directly to the Google Play Store, in addition to settings, widgets and toolsto configure the glasses and the experience to the needs and comfort of each user.
For the moment Daydream, as an application, it is already available in the Google Play Store, where it has the same description as the applicationCardboard, the previous experience low cost (low budget) of Google Most likely you won't be able to download it at the moment. However, there is the less official option of getting hold of the application directly through the APKMirror repository, where they already have a copy of it. Of course, installing applications from outside Google Play Store carries a risk for which each user is solely responsible.
