Now, to be able to enjoy this new function in Google Maps, you must first have the application Hailo or Mytaxi, now available to request taxis via mobile in cities like Madrid and Barcelona, and in the case of Mytaxi, also in Valencia and in Sevilla In this way, and from now on, Google MapsIt will also offer information on routes in this type of transport through its maps.
All you have to do is open Google Maps and perform the search for a destination as usual. Once the location is known, all you have to do is click on theblue button to find out how to get there Until now, the resulting screen showed the different alternatives of the user on foot, by public transport, or even by private transportHowever, regular users of taxis through the aforementioned applications will now also see a new tab for this type of vehicle
When this tab is clicked it is possible to see the approximate travel time to the location, if there is a taxi nearby. In addition, Google Maps now lists the different taxi options that are available to reach that destination, that is, the two existing options so far: Hailo or Mytaxi. And not only that, next to this option is established a approximate price of the race, to know which one to choose, and also thedistance in minutes of the vehicle from the user's location.
With all this information at hand, the user can choose the best option, either by price, distance or time, to request your transportation by taxi.A click on your choice will take you to the corresponding application to apply for the degree simply and directly, automating this process as much as possible. An extra point is that, in regions where different transport options are available within the same service, as is the case of luxury cars from Uber,Google Maps will also present all the options to choose the vehicle category
