This will be the new Google photos app on Android 6.0
It seems that Google is already finalizing the details for the presentation of its new version of the operating system Android And that is Android 6.0, presumably named Marshmallow(marshmallow) is getting more and more attention, so Google will need to come up with something really new and interesting if it doesn't want to disappoint. For now, it is already known that the new version of this operating system will bring under its arm a new Camera application to take all kinds of pictures with smartphones and tablets, taking advantage of the latest image formats and techniques without the need for otherthird party applications.
At the moment not much information has been revealed about Google Camera 3.0, but in between Android Police have already had access to a trial version that they have been able to pass under the microscope, peering below the surface to discover what it holds and what it brings again this photo tool. And it does present some functions to highlight that will arrive in the next devices with Android 6.0
First of all there is SmartBust A function that had already been discovered by scrutinizing the code (the guts, if you will) of the version 2.5 of this same application, although little was known about it. Now, a line of code defines it as a continuous shooting mode where the user can press the shutter button and take as many shots as needed.From then on, the application automatically takes care of collecting these images and arranging them in a collage, joining several of them, or creating a GIF animation when capturing motion with multiple photos. Something that is not really new in the field of mobile photography, but that introduces the creation of this type of content directly in the camera application of the next Android
A new section has also been discovered called Creations Presumably, a section where these collages and GIFs will stop automatically. And, as already happens in Google Photos, the Google algorithm would take care of to recognize the content of the user's images, and then self-improve them and create new content. Images that go to this section for the user to enjoy.
In addition, in this same section there will be room for other new images that this application can take. On the one hand, there is the detection of smiles in a group, taking charge of capturing the photographs when the group of people who is present in the scene is smiling. Or Photo Booth which, although not defined within the application code, presumably allows taking composite photos , creating compositions with several images. Of course, if the user prefers that Google not review their photos to create new content automatically, there will also be an option to deactivate this practice.
