VLC Media Player
VLC is the media player par excellence in any of the platforms on which it is available. This application was born as a program for Windows, but has been adapted to new mobile devicesand now we can have it on any smartphone or tablet, both with Android and with iOS Videolan, the company that develops this program, released VLC for Android three years ago, a lot sooner than it took to get to iOS.Apple withdrew the app and eventually, years later, relicensed it. However, although iOS came later, it was ahead of Android, until today. VLC for Android has been in beta version for three years, that is, it was still in the testing phase and its performance was not optimal in some cases. Following the release of version 0.9, the company has just released VLC 1.0 for Android, the first fully stable version which is compatible with smartphones and tablets up to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
VLC for Android has finally ended its long run of tests and reaches Android as the first stable and complete version -it's not that we couldn't use it before, but in theory it will work much better now.The update description states that bugs have been fixed with devices updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop and also with mobile phones that have processors with ARMv8 architecture. The application has already introduced many of the new features in version 0.9 , such as the hardware acceleration or the change interface color option By default, the program is displayed with white background, but we can change it to black if we are using the application at night, so that it does not dazzle us. However, rather than for exclusive use at night, it is better to activate the black interface mode to save battery on our device.
As we said, VLC Media Player is probably the most complete free media player that we can install on any of our computers.A few years ago, getting to reproduce according to which video formats was a complicated task. In many cases we were forced to download additional codec packs, in order to play a movie without problems. Then came VLC and no more problems with codecs and formats, because this tool reproduces everything. The version for mobile phones and tablets follows this idea and makes it easier to view files. Android is a system with a good format compatibility profile, but if there is any video that resists you, try VLC that will probably solve your ballot. In addition to its excellent format support, it is also compatible with ISO images, allows encoding of sub titlesand offers content through HTTP Live Stream If you are one of those who likes to carry all kinds of videos on your smartphone or tablet VLC is your application.version 1.0 is now available in the store Google Play fullyfree
