Filtered the new version of Samsung's S Voice assistant
In Samsung they are finalizing details before the presentation of what is supposed to be their new flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S5, later this month of February. That is why data, images and details of what is to come are beginning to leak. And not only in terms of hardware or devices. The applications that the South Korean company usually includes have also been renewed, including the assistant S Voice A tool that finds its way between Siri and Google Now, apparently already has a new version.
This is confirmed in the media Sammobile, where they have had access to this new version of the application that is capable of calling, sending a message or search for information with just a spoken command from the user. A change that draws attention especially in the visual aspect, where the redesign of the interface is more than remarkable. A variation of color and shape that bets on the flat style, with a striking color and avoiding shapes, volumes and textures. Respecting the current lines seen in applications and operating systems since Apple launched its iOS 7
Apart from this change of colors and shapes, but without losing the essence of S Voice, the functionalities do not seem extended or with new options for the most demanding users. However, from the mentioned specialized media they do affirm to appreciate a general improvement of the application. Something that would be noticeable in the reduction of the time that this assistant takes to react after receive an order, speeding up its operation significantly compared to the previous version that is currently available on Samsung devices
Along with these issues, a large collection of images have been leaked that show its different sections and characteristics. Of course, taking into account that there is no official confirmation that it is the final version of the application. Thus, it is possible to see, thanks to these images, that the way to activate S Voice will continue to be a double tap on the central button of the terminal, although it can also be launch with voice commands and through other devices as hands-free.
The S Voice Assistant will also continue to perform a nice collection of functions and actions on behalf of the user via command. Making phone calls, composing and sending a text message, setting an alarm, creating a calendar task, opening an app, getting weather information, news, and other useful things that the user can access with virtually no touch the screen. All this by presenting step by step the actions carried out on the screen, through cards that inevitably remind us of Google Now
For the moment more details are unknown, being necessary to wait for Samsung to present these tools officially. Question that will be carried out, supposedly, in the presentation of the new terminal of Samsung during the Mobile World Congress of Barcelona in a couple of weeks.
