Google Play Games

However, taking advantage of yesterday's presentation, Google showed its remodeling of Google Play Games, the platform to find opponents, scores and achievements for Android games An environment that the most gamers will know how to appreciate and that is now presented as an application in itself to make the most of all its virtues.

For those who don't know it yet, it's a platform where you can combine all social aspects of the games available for Android, at least the developers who have decided to use this tool for their games. With it it is possible to find opponents to play in real time, save progress to continue a game from any other Android device, compare bookmarks, record achievements and find out what friends and contacts are playing, among other things. Something similar to those seen in the Game Center of Apple A platform that Google wanted to integrate it as a service within the games but, finally, it has become a full application already Available via Google Play.

Its operation is simple, reminiscent of a section within Google Play, but with the exception that it is not necessarily searched for content to download, but information and contacts about the games. Just start it and insert a Google account to have access to all its functions and corners. All this through a design that focuses its functionalities through the drop-down menu on the left side of the screen, as is usual intools Google

From this menu it is possible to access the Play Now section, a kind of summary screen where the installed games and the players with whom they have participated are shown. In addition, there are suggestion sections to find new games that work with this service andother contacts associated with the Google account that can be added to this service.

However, the games and players have their sections in the menu, being able to know in detail which games have been played recently and which ones remain installed on the device, being able to start them from the application itself. More interesting is the section Players, where you can find contacts and suggestions to add to the circles of Google+ and be able to find them later in the game.
