This app has a good interface, with clear settings and visible features so that they can be used easily. 1 - Download photos and videos of the states
To do this, it is not necessary to have any third-party application installed. We can ”˜” ™ download ”™” ™ an image or video of WhatsApp status with a couple of very simple tricks. We have two options; the first is to take a screenshot. It is the fastest and easiest option, although yes, it will not only take a capture of the image.
The other option is a bit more complex, but much more useful. And we can do this option thanks to the application itself. WhatsApp saves the stories of our contacts in the cache, so that we do not have to download the status again. We can access this folder and select the image we want, how? First, we will have to have a file explorer on our device, we enter and go directly to ”˜Adjustments” ™ and select the option to see hidden folders. Then, we go to the internal memory and in the WhatsApp folder, we look for a sub-folder that says ”˜” ™ Media ”™” ™. Then we will have to find the folder that says ”˜” ™.Statuses ”™” ™. 2 - Put bold, italics or strikethrough
WhatsApp implemented this feature some time ago, although in a somewhat hidden way, because it is not shown in the application itself. And it is that we can put bold, italics or strikethrough in the messages, we will only have to put the sign ”˜” ™ * ”™” ™ at the beginning and end of each word or phrase for bold, ”˜” ™ _ ”™” ™ at the beginning and at the end if we want it in italics and ”˜” ™ ~ ”™” ™ to put text in strikethrough.
3 - Read the messages without having to enter the application
We can read WhatsApp messages without having to enter the application, we just have to apply the WhatsApp messages Widget, there we can see the messages that we have not read. Of course, if we press we will access the application and they will be marked with a blue tick, in case we have it activated. We can also see it through the notifications of our device.
4 - Add a shortcut to the desktop
We can add a shortcut of a conversation on the desktop. We have two ways: The simplest is by accessing the application, we enter a conversation and select the three points that we will find at the top, we go to "more" and click on create direct access. A small icon will be created on the desktop, if we press we will enter the conversation directly. In Android Nougat we can also create a shortcut, we just have to press and hold WhatsApp and the recent contacts will appear, if we keep it pressed it will allow us to drag it to the home page.
5 - Make Google write and send you the message
Thanks to Google Now by voice we can make you write and send a message to the recipient of your choice. Before, we will have to have the Google search bar, or Google Now activated. Click on the microphone icon and say ”˜” ™ Send a WhatsApp ”™ ” ™. It will ask us what message we want to send and what recipient, we tell it, confirm it and it will automatically be sent.
6 - Mark messages as featured
They often send us important messages, conversations that we want to highlight, or save for another time, or simply because they contain something important. There is an option that allows us to mark the messages as highlighted, so that later we can see them without having to enter the conversation.
First, we will have to go to the message that we want to mark as a featured or favorite. We select the message, and a star will appear in the upper bar, if we mark it, it will automatically be saved in highlights. To see the highlighted messages, we will have to go to the main window to the menu and click on "featured messages. There will appear all the messages with the star.
7 - Change the phone number without creating another account
This option is very useful if you have recently changed your phone number and you don't want to lose your entire contact list or conversations. The first thing we will have to do is change the SIM card of our device. Then, go to ”˜” ™ Settings ”™” ™ and click on our profile image. Next, we click on our phone number and the configuration window will appear to change the number. As simple as that.
8 - Translate messages with Google Translate
It is not necessary to exit the application to translate a message, if we have the Google Translate application installed, we can translate directly.
The first thing we will have to do is go to the Google Translate app. In settings, enable the option touch to translate. Then we enter WhatsApp and look for the message that we want to translate. We copy the message through your selection, and the icon located in the top menu. Automatically, a translator balloon will appear and we can translate it.
9 - Send any type of file
There is a very simple way to send any type of file on WhatsApp, regardless of the type of file it is,.zip, audio, PDF or even APK. We will only have to click on the clip, and enter the option to add document, if we select other documents, it will let us send any type of file.
10 - Mention a person in a group
An easy way to know who we are talking to in a group by mentioning them. With this, the recipient will receive a notification, even if they have the group silent . To mention it, we just have to put a ”˜” ™ @ ”™” ™ and your contact name in the text, we send and you will receive the notification. In addition, you will be able to directly view the contact information.
