Annoying number? Block calls on your iPhone
Did you know that iOS has a blocking function that allows us to silence calls from any phone number? So is. The way to proceed is as follows:
- Go to the Settings app.
- Click on the Phone application in the Applications section. Next, access the option to Mute calls and blocked contacts.
- Finally, activate the option to Silence unknown numbers to block calls from numbers that are shown in secret.
To block the call of a specific number we can proceed as follows:
- Navigate again to the option to Mute calls and blocked contacts.
- Tap on Blocked Contacts and add the phone number or contact you want to block.
Hide photos in the iOS Photos app
From iOS 10, the iOS Photos application allows us to hide any photograph or image through the native options of the system. The process is really simple.
Within the application we will select all the images that we want to hide. Then, we will click on the Share icon that will be displayed in the upper left corner and finally on the Hide option.
To consult the list of hidden photos we will have to go to the application's Albums and navigate to the last option. If we want to show the hidden images again we will have to repeat the previous process, although this time we will have to select the Show option.
Password protect photos and images
The previous method will help us to hide photos within the Photos application. Unfortunately, this method does not allow us to password protect images. For this we can use the Notes application. The way to proceed in this case is somewhat more complex.
As a summary, we will have to create a new note and later add the image that we want to hide. Finally, we will click on the Share button and then on Block. Now we will only have to enter a PIN to block access to the note. Later we can delete the photograph in question from the Photos application.
Connect to a WiFi network without entering the password
Apple introduced in iOS 11 a powerful function with which we can connect to a WiFi network without entering any type of password. How? Through QR codes.
Generally, most routers have a QR code stamped next to the access password. Just open the iOS Camera application and scan the code in question to automatically connect to the WiFi network. On Android mobiles we can share this same code through the network options.

Move keyboard cursor between text to correct words
This curious option allows us to slide the keyboard cursor between the text to correct wrong letters or words. Its activation depends on the type of device. The way to proceed is as follows:
- On iPhone with 3D Touch, press the screen hard on the keyboard interface to move the cursor at your convenience.
- On iPhone without 3D Touch, keep your finger on the space bar of the keyboard to move the cursor at your convenience.
- On iPad, press with two fingers on the keyboard to move the cursor at your convenience.
Translate any web page from Safari with this hidden trick
Safari, Apple's native browser, does not allow us to translate pages such as Google Chrome or other third-party browsers. To do this we will have to resort to an external shortcut, such as Translate Page Via Google.
This shortcut allows us to translate the content of a web page at a stroke through the Google translator. Once we have added the shortcut in question, all you have to do is click on the Share option in Safari and then on Translate Page Via Google. The content of the page will automatically be translated into the default language of the system, which in this case is Spanish.
